Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)

The Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) is utilized as a part of the Australian points system for immigration. To apply for Skilled Migration via nomination by a State or Territory government, visa aspirants are required to nominate an occupation from the STSOL.

Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (SOL) was replaced by Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) on 18th April 2017.

If the occupation is listed in the STSOL, then the aspirant may qualify for the Skilled Nominated Visa or Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa.

The STSOL was earlier known as the STSOL stands for Short Term Skilled Occupational Demand list which was earlier known as Consolidated Skilled Occupational List (CSOL).

But, you may also qualify for a Skilled Independent Visa if your occupation gets listed on the Medium and Long term Strategic Skills List or MLTSSL.
