VIC State Nomination

VIC has announced that its skilled migration program level will resume from 7th July 2021. Interested applicants can lodge a new ROI on their online portal from 7th July 2021. All the ROIs submitted in the past year will not be considered. The highlights for the new program are as below:

  • The removal of the minimum experience and hours worked requirement.
  • An increase in the number of target sectors.
  • Applicants must have STEMM skills and have a Skill Level 1 or 2 occupation.  Applicants for subclass 491 nomination may also have a Skill Level 3 occupation using their STEMM skills.

 

Priority Target sectors include:

·      Health

·      Medical research

·      Life sciences

·      Digital

·      Agri-food

·      Advanced manufacturing

·      New energy, emissions reduction and circular economy

ACT State Nomination

QLD State Nomination

The Queensland State Migration Program is closed and will remain closed until further notice.

The new Queensland business and skilled nomination criteria is currently being finalised and will be available towards the end of July 2021 and will be published on the homepage of our website at this time.

This new criteria announcement will coincide with the launch of our new website, and name, Migration Queensland.

 

NSW State Nomination

Skilled Migration program (190 and 491) for NSW remains closed. We are waiting for the updated SOL and further details on state nomination criteria. We will post further updates here.

 

WA State Nomination

There are no updates from the WA state authorities yet. We will post any further updates received here.

 

TAS State Nomination

There are no updates from Tasmania regarding the re-opening of the state nomination program in 2021-22 migration year yet. We will post new updates here.

 

NT State Nomination

The program remains open for new onshore applications, and all existing applications will continue to be assessed. Applicants who meet eligibility criteria will be issued nominations once new allocations are received for the program year 2021-22. Offshore applications remain closed while the national border restrictions stay in place.

 

Applicants must ensure that they meet the published eligibility criteria for nomination prior to applying. These criteria will be strictly applied.

SA State Nomination

The GSM & BIIP Programs are scheduled to reopen in the week commencing 19 July 2021. We will post further updates here as soon as they are available.

Increase in the Visa Fees by DHA

The visa fees for most of the subclasses have been increased by Department of Home Affairs. You can use our visa fees calculator to calculate updated charges.

 

Increase in the Skills Assessment Fees by EA

Engineers Australia has announced increase in the service fees for all of their skills assessment related services. Fees for Australian Engineering Qualification Assessment is increased to $270.00 (AUD).
