On June 12, VETASSESS will start accepting new applications for the occupations of Chef and Fitter (General), which were paused in September 2023. Applicants can submit applications for Chef (Commercial Cookery and Asian Cookery) under ANZSCO Code 351311, and Fitter (General) under ANZSCO Code 323211. This applies to Pathway 1 and Pathway 2 applications under the OSAP and TSS programs. The reopening follows discussions with Trades Recognition Australia (TRA). Applications remain paused for Electrician (General) and Metal Machinist (First Class).
