Latest Update by VIC State Nomination Authority for the subclass 188 visa closure is as follows:
The Victorian Governments Skilled and Business Migration program will not be accepting new nomination applications for the subclass 188 visa after 5pm (AEST) Monday, 31 May 2021.
This will ensure that the Victorian Government can assess all subclass 188 nomination applications submitted before the Department of Home Affairs makes changes to the Business Innovation and Investor Visa requirements on 1 July 2021.
Victorias standard processing timeframe for subclass 188 nomination applications is 4 calendar weeks for subclass 188 Business Innovation and Investor streams and 1 calendar week for the subclass 188 Significant Investor stream.
If you are seeking Victorian nomination for a subclass 188 visa as part of the 2020-21 program, your application, including applications currently in draft, must be submitted through the Live In Melbourne portal by 5pm (AEST) Monday, 31 May 2021.
