Migration Tasmania has provided the latest update on processing times and nomination places used for the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) and Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visas. As of 3 June 2024:
- Processing Times: The oldest nomination application yet to be processed was lodged on 19 April 2024.
- Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa:
- Nominations: 593 of 600 places used
- Nomination applications lodged but not decided: 62
- Invitations to apply for nomination issued but not yet accepted: 13
- Registrations of interest on hand: 295
- Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa:
- Nominations: 591 of 600 places used
- Nomination applications lodged but not decided: 25
- Invitations to apply for nomination issued but not yet accepted: 48
- Registrations of interest on hand: 608
Migration Tasmania selects ROIs for nomination on an ongoing basis, issuing up to 30 invitations each week. Only the most competitive ROIs are chosen for nomination.
